When I am not working, I am traveling - I have visited 78 countries so far!

I skied at Elbrus and Dombai (Caucasus, nearly 4000 meters!), Karpaty (Ukraine), Shimbulak (Kazakhstan), Tashtagol (Siberia), Khibiny (Russian North, one of the northernmost ski resorts in the world located at the Arctic circle), Matterhorn (Switzerland), and French Alps, as well as Mammoth, Lake Tahoe, Whistler, Park City, Vail, and other places in North America. My longest skiing season lasted four weeks. I nearly made it to the world highest ski resort (over 5000 meters!) in Bolivia but was denied Bolivian visa…

I snorkeled in French Polynesia, El Nido (Philippines), Great Barrier Reef (Eastern Australia), Ningaloo Reef (Western Australia), Seychelles, Hawaii, Bali, Galapagos, and some other places.

I did multi-day white water rafting  and kayaking trips in Valdai (Russia), Ural mountains in Bashkiria (Russia), Karelia (near Russian-Finish border), Bolshoy Zelenchuk (Caucasus), and Uchami (Siberia). The longest one from the start to the end of Uchami river lasted three weeks with a single village on the way. But we met a deer-hording Evenki tribe and I even rode a deer! The only way to get to the start of this trip and get out at the end was by a helicopter.

I did multi-day hikes in Fann mountains (Tadjikistan, two-weeks long!), Dombai mountains (Caucasus), Sierra Nevada (California), Kings Canyon, and Glacier National Park (Montana). I did single-day hikes in Yosemite, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Banff and Jasper (Canada), Torres del Payne (Chile), El Chalten (Argentina), Tongariro Alpine Crossing and Abel Tasman Coast Track (New Zealand), Karijini National Park and Daintree National Park (Australia), South Africa, Alaska, Vancouver Island, and many other places.

Follow this street as it becomes Hopkins Drive. This route is also known as Campus Loop.

The road bends to the right. When you reach Voigt Drive (stop sign), turn left and go down a hill.

At the next stop sign, there will be a parking lot (P502) to your left.
